Join us for a hands-on Early Childhood Family Education class where children and caregivers explore the fascinating world of corn! Through stories, songs, sensory play, and simple science activities, we’ll learn how corn grows from a tiny seed into the tall plants we see in fields. Children will have the chance to touch, sort, and play with corn in different forms—kernels, popcorn, and even corn-based crafts—while adults learn ways to support early science thinking and vocabulary at home. This class encourages curiosity, observation skills, and family connection through playful discovery.

Appletastic Fun is a hands-on Early Childhood Family Education class all about apples! Young children and their caregivers will explore the world of apples through playful learning activities, stories, songs, art, and sensory experiences.

Children will practice fine motor skills, follow simple directions, and explore new foods in a playful, supportive environment. Caregivers will learn easy, nutritious recipes they can recreate at home, along with tips for involving young children safely in the kitchen.

In a “Move and Groove” class, you can expect lots of active, music-based activities like dancing, clapping games, simple rhythm instruments, parachute play, and guided movement songs. These activities are intentionally designed to help young children develop gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and rhythm awareness, while also supporting early language development through songs and repetition.

Join us for a fun and festive ECFE session all about pumpkins and carving! The highlight of our time together will be a guided pumpkin carving experience where adults and children can safely work side by side to design their own jack-o’-lanterns. We’ll talk about pumpkin parts, practice scooping and carving techniques appropriate for little helpers, and celebrate creativity along the way. Please dress for a bit of mess and fall fun!
