Youth Maker Monday with Miss SauerYouth EnrichmentThese clay classes are perfect for kids who enjoy building, art-making, and getting a little messy. Participants will design, create, and paint a clay project in 2–3 lessons. Newbies working with clay are more than welcome! Whether they sign up for one or all three, these classes are a fun creative outlet with a sweet project to take home. All finished projects will be picked up from the Albert Lea Community Ed office three days after the final lesson of each class. Clay Bobble-HeadTwo lessons: 11/2, 11/9 Explore the pinch method while you create a cute and silly bobble-head figure. Clay Slab Bowl Two lessons: 11/16, 11/23 Explore the slab method while building a functional clay bowl. These are dishwasher safe! Clay Trinket Tray Three lessons: 11/30, 12/7, 12/14 Explore the coil method as you design and create a small dish or tray to store your trinkets.Fall 2026 -

Footed Clay Planter Two lessons: 11/2, 11/9 Use the pinch method to form a pot and construct feet, appendages, and details for a whimsy planter! Clay Trinket Box Two lessons: 11/16, 11/23 Use the slab method to build a small trinket box and fitted lid. Clay Coil Pot Three lessons: 11/30, 12/7, 12/14 Use the coil method to create a unique surface design on your own vase, pot, or bowl.Fall 2026
