Tiger Cub Child Care will strengthen families and support the ability of all parents to provide the best possible environment for the health, growth and development of their children. We will provide a comprehensive curriculum based on best practices and research on early brain development and learning. At Tiger Cub Child Care we offer a wide variety of activities to promote children's brain development, including curriculum provided by Creative Curriculum Gold. Our infant & toddler child care programs are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (651-431-6500). We are currently licensed to serve up to 44 children at a time in the infant and toddler/preschool classrooms, 16 infants and 28 toddlers/preschool age. The maximum child to staff ratio is 7:1 for toddlers/preschool and 4:1 for infants. New4HRock GymThis is a event exclusively for members of 4H. Participants must be part of this group in order to register. Preregistration is required! The rock gym welcomes climbers of all ages and experience levels! Enjoy our beginner to expert graded routes, our bouldering wall, Kilterboard, rope climbing and more. Our experienced staff are available to belay and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Come explore and make your indoor rock climbing adventure unforgettable! Important Notes: If you are unable to register, it means we are either full or closed due to weather, low enrollments, or unforeseen circumstances. Parents/Guardians must complete registration for their minors (18 years and younger). All children must be accompanied by an adult. If you are not participating in rock climbing but are simply there to supervise your child or spectate, there is no need to sign up. 55+ Driver Discount ProgramAdult DrivingComplete this course approved by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety to get a 10% discount on your auto insurance! Taught by a certified instructor, you’ll discuss challenges we face as drivers, new road designs, vehicle technology, and updates on current laws. MN Statute requires insurance agencies to offer a 10% automotive insurance discount upon completion of an approved 4-hour class. Tests are not given, however each person must register, pay, and participate for the duration of the class to receive a certificate. Upon completion, submit your certificate to your insurance company. To maintain your discount, this course needs to be completed every 3 years. NOTE: Your name, address, phone number, email and birth year will be shared with the Precision Driving Center staff to enter into their database for future assistance in verifying your information. As of July 1, 2024, it is no longer a requirement to take the initial 8-hour course. The requirement has been reduced to only the 4-hour course every 3 years.Summer 2026 -

ALDT Future Tiger Dancer ClinicYouth EnrichmentJoin the ALDT coaches and dancers for a fun 3-day clinic for students entering grades 5–6 and 7–8! This community education experience gives dancers a glimpse into what it’s like to be part of the ALDT team. Participants will learn kick technique, jazz basics, and choreography while building confidence, teamwork, and performance skills. Dancers will also connect with current team members, experience the energy, commitment, and spirit of being a Tiger Dancer, and receive an official clinic T-shirt to show off their ALDT pride. Whether you're new to dance team or already dreaming of ALDT, this clinic is a great way to grow, have fun, and shine! Albert Lea Dance Team Summer Youth Dance CampYouth EnrichmentCalling all incoming K-5th graders interested in dance! Don’t miss this opportunity to dance with the Albert Lea Tigers Dance Team! In this fun-filled three-day camp, taught by ALDT dancers and supervised by the ALDT Booster Club, participants will warm up, stretch, play games, learn dance techniques and skills, and learn a dance routine to perform at the July 8th Wind Down Wednesday. (WDW details TBD) Each dancer will receive a performance t-shirt, decorative hair tie, daily snack, and nearly five hours of instruction and fun. Dancers should wear comfortable activewear and gym shoes, bring a filled water bottle, and arrive with their hair pulled back and out of their face for every practice. Camp schedule: Monday & Tuesday 1:00-2:15pm Wednesday 1:00-3:00pm Please note our registration system lists only one time. Refer to the details above for the correct camp times. Beginner Disc GolfExperiential EducationStudents Entering 3-7 Grade This four class course will introduce disc golf to youth players in a relaxed setting. Participants will learn basic fundamentals of disc golf like play etiquette, terminology and proper throwing form and techniques. The first three Saturday sessions will take place at the Brookside Park Boathouse, culminating in a round of golf at the Tall Grass Prairie Course at Bancroft Park on the final Saturday of the course. This camp is led by new Co-Head Cross Country Coaches Autumn Dauer and Aaron Bauers.
