Get ready for a sweet holiday adventure! Join us for Gingerbread House, a festive ECFE class where families will build and decorate their own gingerbread houses together. We’ll enjoy holiday-themed activities, songs, stories, and plenty of icing-and-candy creativity. This hands-on class is a fun way to make memories, encourage imagination, and celebrate the season with your child. Dress for the mess and come ready for lots of holiday fun!

Hello, my name is Mary Jo Volkman, ECFE Parent Educator at Brookside School. I’ve had the joy of supporting families through Early Childhood Family Education for over 30 years. During that time, I’ve led a variety of classes—from Babies and Toddlers to 3–5s, special topic parenting sessions, and family events. It’s been a true privilege to walk alongside parents and caregivers during these important early years, forming lasting connections and witnessing the growth of so many children.
