Funtabulous Fridays: Yoga
Stretch, move, and connect together in this playful parent-child yoga class designed for young children and their caregivers. Through simple yoga poses, songs, movement activities, breathing exercises, and relaxation, families will build strength, balance, mindfulness, and connection in a fun and welcoming environment. This class encourages bonding, social interaction, and healthy movement habits while supporting children’s physical and emotional development. No previous yoga experience is needed—just come ready to move and have fun together!

Hello, my name is Mary Jo Volkman, ECFE Parent Educator at Brookside School. I’ve had the joy of supporting families through Early Childhood Family Education for over 30 years. During that time, I’ve led a variety of classes—from Babies and Toddlers to 3–5s, special topic parenting sessions, and family events. It’s been a true privilege to walk alongside parents and caregivers during these important early years, forming lasting connections and witnessing the growth of so many children. I look forward to creating even more meaningful memories in the year ahead!
