Kick-Off Orchestra Lessons

Students entering 6th grade and will be joining orchestra are highly encouraged to participate in kick-off lessons. During these lessons, students will receive instruction on techniques specific to their instrument in small groups. Learn how to hold the instrument, create sound and begin playing notes. These lessons have helped students start the year with confidence and helped the class progress much more quickly. Just imagine, students will be able to begin the school year reading notes, rhythms and playing music! All students need an instrument that is in good working order and String Basics for their instrument prior to the start of lessons. Violin: 10:00-10:30am or 12:30-1:00pm
Viola: 10:30-11:00am or 1:00-1:30pm
Cello: 11:00-11:30am or 1:30-2:00pm
Bass: 11:30am -12:00pm
